How to Prepare for a Successful IUI and/or IVF

How to Prepare for a Successful IUI and/or IVF

Because a guy goes to the gym daily, lifts weights, runs, shadow- boxes, and has a personal boxing coach gives him zero reason to think he can actually beat a professional boxer in the ring.  It takes a huge commitment to play on a professional level. It takes a total commitment to preparation.

The same is true of IUI and IVF.

Taking medication that will prepare your lining, taking medication that will facilitate the development of follicles, and doing an IUI or doing a retrieval, fertilization, and transfer via IVF are just events needed to ‘build the house’. The question is: how good is the wood?

To build a lasting and strong house you need good material. There is absolutely nothing in Western reproductive medicine that addresses this.

They work with what you have, even if the quality is poor. This is absolutely not a criticism of Western reproductive medicine. IVF is responsible for more than five-million babies being born. But…how many failed transfers occurred before the five million successes?

Western reproductive medicine is excellent, but like all systems, it is incomplete.

Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and low-level-light therapy, help ‘complete’ the reproductive-medicine ‘system’

Acupuncturists cannot do what reproductive endocrinologists can do, but reproductive endocrinologists cannot do what acupuncturists can do.

The reproductive endocrinologist builds the house, but the fertility-acupuncturist creates the best material for building a good, strong, sturdy,  and functional house.

Without good materials, the house will come down with the first gust of wind.

The new ‘Gold Standard of Care’ should be ‘East meets West in Reproductive Medicine.’ One day it will be.

I suspect that at some point soon, all reproductive medicine centers will have acupuncturists on staff, but until then, visit www.aborm.org to find a fertility-acupuncturist near you and start preparing.

Many people are under the impression that when an IUI or IVF is done, it will work.

Mostly they fail, until finally, after multiple attempts, one finally conceives, and many of those conceptions end in a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage.

Why does this happen?

Because either the egg quality is bad, or the sperm quality is bad, or the lining quality is bad.

“But wait” you say! My embryos were pgd’d normal. “I just don’t understand.”

Here’s what happened. Your eggs or your sperm or your lining were not good even though they tested as good. Are you confused yet? I understand.

Here’s what you need to know: there is more to egg/embryo, sperm, and lining quality assessment than can be currently tested, identified, and accounted for in Western medicine.

Just imagine what fertility-diagnostics are going to look like in ten years. It will be orders-of-magnitude more efficient and precise.

In order to increase the chances of a successful and on-going pregnancy, preparation must be made. Preparation which will facilitate better egg, embryo, lining, and sperm quality.

There is nothing in existence today that can confer better quality to your reproductive function than acupuncture, herbal medicine, and low-level-light therapy.

If you’re not using these modalities, you are not doing everything in your power to become pregnant, and to prevent miscarriage.

After treating thousands of patients facing fertility challenges over a twenty-five-year period, I have concluded that acupuncture, herbs, and low-level-light-therapy are as important or possibly more important than the actual IUI/IVF to facilitate a healthy, successful, and ongoing pregnancy.

Think about it! And start preparing today.
